  6. Are all Frontpage features supported on my site?
    Frontpage was created for developing websites in a Microsoft Windows environment. Because of this the following features are not available on our UNIX servers.

    2. ODBC and Sql Database connections (Access, SQL Server)
    3. ActiveX
    4. VBScript

    There are good alternatives to each of these features within our services Please contact our support department for more information.

    Frontpage passwords are stored in your computer rather than on our server.

    To change the user and password please use the following steps.

    2. Add Name and Password
    3. Click "Administer, author and browse..."
    4. Click "Apply" and then "OK"
    To change just the password:
    1. Click Tools->Change Password (Tools->Security->Change Password in FP2000)
    2. Enter the old password and then the new one

  9. Can I use FTP to upload my Frontpage Files.
    The use of FTP to upload a Frontpage web is strongly discouraged. FTP can damage the server extensions and require the site to be deleted and re-created. One exception for this is the transfer of CGI programs to your cgi-bin directory.

  10. Can I still use all of the control panel functions if I'm using Frontpage?
    Frontpage uses the same .htaccess file as our protect directories function. If you wish to password protect a directory on a Frontpage site please use the tools provided within Frontpage.
